About the Author Patricia Mercier trained as a yoga teacher during the late 1970's when yoga was first being introduced to the West. She went on to encourage yoga practice and worked as a holistic health practitioner. These experiences led her to write Chakras, The Chakra Bible, and the Chakra Experience as well as spiritual quest books about the Maya civilization and cosmovision.
