These Lapis keyrings are made from a polished crystal, asymmetrically shaped, well made and smooth to the touch. A lovely addition to a set of keys, particularly if you would like keep the properties and benefits of a crystal near to you wherever you go. They have a solid weight to them, and each is unique in shape and colour.
Lapis is a blue and white crystal that has lots of character to it. The Lapis used in these keyrings are a mixed of vibrant blue, with white and gold flecks mixed into the crystal. The colour will be different between each but the quality is always constant. Take a look at some of the pictures above to see the type of variation there may be; we've tried to capture the different shades and types. If you have any particular request for the look or colour of the keyring you would like, please leave us a note in your extra instructions upon checking out and we'll do our best to pick one for you.
Size of Lapis Keyring: Approximately 4-5 cm (1.5 - 2") a the longest point of the crystal, roughly 3-3.5 cm (1 - 1.5") in width. Please note that because these crystals are asymmetrical/misshaped, this is an approximate guide to the size as each will be slightly different.
More About Lapis Lazuli Lapis lazuli is a combination of lazurite and calcite. Sometimes pyrite is also present. Lapis lazuli, or lapis as it's often simply called, is a crystal that's oozing in spiritual energy. In a sense, it's a timeless stone, which symbolises our spiritual selves at their most expansive and wide open state, where we are able to learn anything we desire to know. As a tool, lapis lazuli can act as a reminder to us that the subtle spiritual realms are there and open to connection and exploration.
The energy of the stone reminds us that we really do hold the answers to anything we want to know deep inside ourselves. If you want to know about the meaning of life, or what a certain symbol means, or how to be more intuitive, these answers are really inside you. A teacher may help you sometimes, but ultimately we are the ones who take action. Sometimes, when learning, it is easy to get attached to a certain teacher or set of teachings. Lapis teaches that that can be fine, but we also need to remain open so that other possibilities can enter when needed. Wearing lapis can act as a signal that you're opening yourself up to the power of divine inspiration.
