How to: Protect your Energy

We all have one thing in common: our energy. It is so important to protect it. If you don't, you run the risks of all sorts of trouble.
Have you ever been in a situation where you think, right. I need to get out of this right now, this is NOT what I had in mind, I need to relieve myself of this negativity NOW. Yep, me too.
Here's a few tips to try to protect that precious energy of yours.
1 - Create Boundaries
I know this is a tough one, trust me. If you're anything like I am, saying 'no' is always tough, isn't it? Well, start to learn to say no. Say no to things you know will drain your time and energy. Allow yourself the head space to be up front with someone about how you feel and make them completely aware of your boundaries, or you run the risk of being walked over.
2 - Allow yourself space to breathe
Life can be tough most of the time. With work, kids, trying to fit in a social life, trying to stay healthy, remembering to stay hydrated; it can all just get a little too much. Allow yourself time to breathe. Have a well-deserved morning off work, let your brain switch off as much as possible. You run the risk of completely burning out, self doubting everything you do, and that's not good! Give yourself a break.
3 - Social Media Breaks
A term i've heard a few times lately is, 'Comparasaurus'. That feeling when you see someone on Social Media who is doing what you do, but you feel like it's better. As soon as Social Media becomes enjoyable, come off for a bit. Turn off your notifications and step away from that scroll hole! Mindless scrolling is not good for your energy.
4. Affirmations
I've put together a list of affirmations that i've created which will hopefully help you in some way.
  • Today is a new day.
  • I am strong. I am brave. I've got this.
  • I will not let people's opinions of me define how I feel about myself.
  • I am amazing and worthy of good things.
  •  I will not rise to negativity in any situations.
  • I will remain grounded and at-peace in stressful situations.
  • I can handle whatever life throws my way.
I hope some of these points have helped in some way! I guess its trial and error, too. Sometimes something will happen and if you feel a certain way, you know the next time round you need to put in the necessary steps in place to protect your energy.

Self Care Tips To Try Today

Self care is so important to all of us. It's not just a case of having a bath, it goes way deeper than that. It is about nourishing your mind, body and spirit.
Here's a few self care tips and some suggestions in which I personally find really do help both body and in mind.

- Drink some water.

- Start your day slowly.

- Light your most favourite scented candle.

- If you're a crystal collector, spend time with your crystals. Take them outside into the world, carry them with you, enjoy them!

- Set up your own personal morning ritual - whether that having a quick shower, having breakfast every morning, getting up half an hour earlier than everyone else to have your morning tea/coffee in peace (one for you fellow parents)

- Take a walk.

- Start a diary or journal.

- Plan your meals ahead.

- Make sleep a priority.

- Limit screen time - set yourself boundaries. I have a 'wind down' time on my iPhone; after 10pm all of my notifications are silenced until 8am the day after. I find this really does help me to switch off. I'm not constantly looking at my phone every time I get a notification.

- Read some uplifting quotes.

- Set up a mood or vision board on Pinterest - I've created a few on my Pinterest full of different moods, colours, vibes and feels. (search foreverirregular if you fancy a browse).

- Listen to some nature sounds.

- Set a daily intention for yourself (if you don't manage this, its totally fine!)

- Watch your favourite film.

- Declutter your space.

- Burn some incense.

- Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Due to Lavender’s versatile properties, it is considered the must-have oil to have on hand at all times.

Because it is simply the most magical fragrance. I like to spray it near the water, right before I get in the bath.

This soap smells divine and makes your hair luxuriously soft. A little chunk of everyday sustainable luxury.

October Update

October Update

What a year.
Seriously, who would have thought this time last year, we would be in the midst of a global pandemic? The whole situation is well and truly messing everyone's plans up of just going about their daily life.
I hope each and every single one of you are coping, I know times are extremely tough right now so remember if you aren't ok - please reach out. You are not alone.
What's coming up?
Here at Forever we've been extremely busy making sure all of your Christmas needs are met. We will be gift wrapping at no more expense to yourself. We can also send gifts straight to the recipient with our very own personalised foil card meaning you don't have to make journeys far and wide if you are unable to. We are ensuring we have an extensive gift guide to suit all price ranges and tastes.
We've also got our Forever Care Package launching this weekend; I wont give too much away, but it will include a heap of self lovin' for you. The box would also make a perfect gift for someone in need of some 'magical me' time. There will only be a number of boxes available, so if you would like one please make sure you keep a lookout on our Instagram stories throughout the week.

We are planning a massive restock on all of our products over the next few weeks, as well as introducing some new treasures to our Cove which we are extremely excited for. We may have another business joining in on the fun, too!

Order timescales

With all this uncertainty, its likely the postal service will still be slightly delayed in some areas so if you are planning on christmas shopping online this year, the earlier the better.

International postage can take up to 28 days (maybe slightly longer) and unfortunately there isn't anything we can do about that from here. All I ask is please ensure if you'd like your package tracked, to choose this option at the checkout so we can both keep an eye on the parcel's whereabouts as it travels to you.

Magical Self Care Tips

Self Care is a term that's thrown around these days, isn't it? Well, there's a good reason for that - it's really important!
The term Self Care maybe means one thing to you and another thing to me - be that as it may, it all takes us down the same path of spiritually cleansing and lifting our moods.
Everyone needs a bit of self care sometimes. Self love is good for the soul.
There's a common misconception that self care has to be luxurious and expensive, when as a matter of fact there's plenty of tools you can use around your home without splashing out on the most expensive facial scrub.
Before I carry on, I just want to say I know Self Care doesn't fix everything, but it will certainly help your goal for inner peace.
Here's a few magical self care tips for you to start doing today.
Meditation is a simple yet effective way to relax every inch of your body. There's so many start up videos and podcasts online for you to get started! You can even meditate before you sleep, too; incase you are strap for time.
Go outside
Even if you don't want to; even if its pouring it down with rain. Connect with nature even just for a moment. Sometimes leaving the four walls of your home even for an hour can do your mind the world of good.
Drink Water
Look after your body and it will look after you. If you start to feel sluggish and tired in the day, energise yourself with a refreshing glass of water.
Cleanse your space
How much better do you feel after you've cleaned up? I for one know as soon as I've cleared my office I feel like I am so much more motivated and refreshed! After you've cleansed your space, light some of your favourite incense and take a minute to relax.
Stare at the moon and the stars
Have a minute to look up at the sky at night to ground yourself back to reality.
Have a social media break
I cannot express how important this is! 
Drink some herbal tea
All the herbal fruity powers; magically charge that tea!
Start a journal
All those creative ideas, negative thoughts, positive feelings etc. inside your head; take them and write them down.
Light a candle
In the morning, I always light a white candle and set my intentions for the day.
Start a relaxing playlist
Music is good for the soul; and a feel-good, relaxing playlist is perfect for popping on when you are in need a mood booster.

@heavymetalwoks says: 'My self care is putting on makeup. Making me forget about my anxiety and my rosacea. The makeup is therapeutic. Also, listening to my favourite music always helps'.
@sweetpeaguidance says: 'Bath and music for me and also drawing ive found. It calms me, blocks the world out and I just see where it takes me'.
Whatever you class as self care, make sure you try to implement it to at least one part of your day. We all deserve to be happy, well grounded and one with ourselves.

Thinking of becoming Wiccan? Here's some Top Tips

Thinking of going Wiccan, but not sure where to start? Here's a few tips to inject this into your life!
Start off small. Little things mean a lot. Something as simple as lighting a white candle when visitors come over is a great way to get rid of any bad energies or vibes they bring into your home.
Get a collection of crystals going. See which ones attract you and buy a few stones; scatter them around your home or have a specific area you like to go to keep them. Do some research into what healing properties each has and see which one you are attracted to the most.
Treat yourself to some witchy homeware. I absolute LOVE my cauldron mugs and my pentacles on the wall; I know these are just for show, but they give me so much peace!
Find some rituals which you can practise daily. The amazing thing about Wicca is there are no set rules; it's whatever works for you. Whether its having a hot, deep bath with salt to purify the body, or filling up your herb cupboard; do what ever feels right and always trust your intuition.
Read and study what there is to know about the religion. There's a lot to digest so get yourself some books on Wicca and do some reading! Study the gods and goddesses, herbs, the pentagram symbol, the rule of three, and crystals.
Get outside and be 'one with the earth'. One way I knew I was a witch was the fact I can deeply attracted to the outside. Woods, forests, fields, rivers, nature; get involved. Go on long walks, immerse yourself into the world and fall in love with everything around you.
Every day is a school day. You will learn something new every day about being Wiccan; as you go through your experience you'll find what works for you and what doesn't ; that's why its best to keep a journal (or better known as your Book of Shadows).
Learn the rule of three. This is very important! 
However you go about creating this wonderful journey for yourself, remember there is no right or wrong way. Someone's Wiccan journey may be completely different to yours, and that's fine. It's all about knowing yourself in ways you may not have done before.
